The mornings where I’m running late and don’t have the time to make a proper wholesome breakfast, this is my ‘go to’. Smoothies are a great way to get tons of vegetables and vitamins while drinking something that tastes amazing and is filling. Cocoa nibs are the perfect addition to any smoothie as they add just a touch of chocolate flavour. This smoothie recipe makes enough for 3-4 servings.
Green Cocoa Nib Smoothie:
1 cup - chocolate almond milk (can be any milk or milk substitute)
2 frozen bananas
1/2 cup - plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup - peanut butter
1 tbsp. - honey
1 cup - cucumber
1/4 cup - cocoa nibs
2 handfuls spinach
Place all ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth and enjoy!
