Molten Lava Cake Recipe
150 grams Valrhona Manjari Chocolate (available at JACEK Chocolate)
100 grams unsalted butter
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup caster sugar
2 tablespoons flour, sifted
Vanilla bean ice cream
Preheat the oven to 350F. Gently melt the chocolate and the butter in a saucepan over low heat, while stirring continuously. Place the eggs, yolks and sugar in a bowl and whisk until pale. Gently fold in the flour and the chocolate mixture (do not overmix!) and spoon into 4 lightly greased 1 cup capacity oven proof dishes. Bake for 12 minutes or until the puddings are puffed. Let cool until warm, and serve with a dollop of ice cream on top. Enjoy!
