Chocolate BBQ Sauce
Preparation time: 30 min
Yields: 1 1/4 cup of sauce
1/2 tbsp coconut oil (olive or vegetable oil works too!)
1/3 cup diced onion
1 clove of garlic, minced
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
12 pieces of JACEK 64% Dark Chocolate, roughly chopped
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- Mix all ingredients in a pot on the stove over medium heat stirring constantly. Once sauce starts to bubble, cover pot and lower heat to low.
- Let the sauce simmer for 25-30 minutes so the flavours come together.
- After 30 minutes, the onions will be softened. However if you're wanting a smoother sauce, place in the blender and blend until smooth.
- Store in fridge, in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
